Meet Our Team

Dr. Sher Shahab

BS, BDentSc, MSc, Cert. Prostho., F.R.C.D.C

Dr. Shahab is a certified Prosthodontist. He is a specialist in dental implants, aesthetic dentistry and reconstructive dentistry. He obtained his dental degree from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and Masters of Science and Certificate in Prosthodontics from University of Toronto. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. His field of research is pertaining to full jaw dental implants solution over conventional dentures. He is currently part-time teaching staff at the University of Toronto.

Outside of dentistry Dr. Shahab likes to spend time with his family and friends, play squash and travel. He is also a keen supporter of his favourite soccer team, Liverpool football club.

Sharon Gleeson

Dental Hygienist

Sharon graduated from Canadore College in 2000, as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been with our team since 2001. Sharon had a desire to make our office her professional home after her first visit, due to the up-to-date work environment and a great team atmosphere, “Where we all agree, the patients come first”. Sharon’s love of Dental Hygiene fuels her desire to make her patients feel relaxed and comfortable, while providing high quality and thorough Dental Hygiene Care.

Mariah Thompson

Dental Hygienist

Mariah’s passion for Dental Hygiene started when she was 10 years old, she always had a pleasant experience at the Dentist and getting her teeth cleaned. Mariah has been a part of the team since 2012 as a co-op student in High School. After High School, she went into the Dental Hygiene program at George Brown College. She graduated from George Brown in June 2016 and started working right after. She genuinely cares for her patient’s oral health and strives to get everyone motivated to develop a good oral hygiene routine at home. She tries her very best to make every hygiene appointment as enjoyable as possible.

Mariah Thompson

Dental Hygienist

Abigail Green

Dental Assistant

Abby graduated from Durham College from the dental assisting program in February 2018. She received her NDAEB certificate in June of 2018. Abby has been with our office since December 2018 and has since worked with various specialists and our general dentist.

Danielle Carere

Dental Assistant

Danielle Carere graduated from Durham College in 2017, for Dental Assisting Levels 1 & 2. Danielle obtained her NDAEB certification shortly after graduation, and has been with us since as our Lead Assistant. She has been assisting in general dentistry and multiple specialities such as: Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Endodontics.

Danielle obtained her NDAEB certification shortly after graduation, and has been with us since as our Lead Assistant. She has been assisting in general dentistry and multiple specialities such as: Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Endodontics.
